Our Trustees

Dr Anand MBBS MRCGP Chairman.

He is a Holistic General Practitioner, Counselor and trainer of medical students in Holistic Medicine. He is also a long standing student of Indian Classic Music and has a special interest in Arts and Health.

John Andrew Cresswell MEd MA BA(Hons) Trustee.

John is currently head of music and performing arts at Boldon School, South Tyneside. He is also a trustee of the Durham Summer School For Young Musicians and has actively been teaching music in education since 1977. He has a special interest in the role of music in improving community and ethnic relations.

Dr Ram Karan Singh MBBS DA MD FRCA FFARCS Trustee.

He is a consultant anaesthetist who enjoys nature, music and keeping fit. All his family are learning Indian Classical Music.

Anne Collinson DIPRSA LRAM BA(Hons) Trustee.

She is a professional singer and former English and Drama teacher, now helping a youth theatre company on a voluntary basis. She has spent 2 years learning Indian Classic Music at Gurukul and has found her life greatly enriched by the process of learning.

Our Development Coordinator

Dr Anthea Anand MBBS BSc

Development Coordinator. She is a student of Classical Indian Music, has a special interest in Arts and Health and helps run the medical student programme.
