Intensive
training of professional musicians leading to ATCL (Associate of Trinity
College London) after 3 years The chosen students are guided
through a tuition and training programme developed in a modular pattern,
to cover one module annually for 3 years leading to ATCL. The course
is designed to enable trainees to imbibe basic knowledge and skills in
the teaching of Indian Classical Music in the community and schools through
workshops and lecture-demonstrations. A higher and deeper commitment
will enable them to reach performance standards. Applicants must be one
of the following:
A)
Part or full time musicians
B)
Music students who would like to take up Indian Classical Music as
an additional area of study
C)
Any other talented individual who is willing to take up Indian Classical
Music as a serious vocation
