Indian Classical Music with its emphasis on improvisation and individual creativity coupled with a five thousand year old teaching tradition provides a unique musical experience for other musicians of all spheres.

For the western, classically trained musician, Indian Classical Music, offers structured help in understanding the proccess of improvisation, interpretation and individual creativity within music. The blues, jazz or rock musician, can find new sources of inspiration and take advantage of the ancient teaching methodologies by which Indian Classical Music has retained it's cutting freshness over the milleneums. Finally, even the DJ can learn about unfamilar rythms and beats and, more importantly, how these ancient rythms can enhance and alter the emotional states of the listener.
